After leaving the bright lights and romance of management accountancy behind him, Dave Bowler has carried on what he optimistically calls “a career” in music and football. Since he couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket and has concrete feet, that career has been limited to writing about both. Having spent sixteen years writing this book, he hopes he will still be alive by the time the next one is finished.
